Madontrenique, affectionally known as Mona, TRUE LOVE is SINGING!  At an early age Mona knew she had an awesome gift from God.  Not taking that gift for granted, she is sharing it with the world. 
 

Mona has performed powerhouse songs such as Jennifer Holliday’s “And I am Telling You”; Pattie LaBelle’s “Somewhere Over the Rainbow; Whitney Houston’s “The Greatest Love of All”; and many more.
 

Mona has performed at UC Davis Black Family Day; opened for Atlantic Starr, the Delta Chapter Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc.; Bernae’s International Hair Design Show; California State Fair; Jazz Mass at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament; NAACP Prayer Breakfast; Sacramento Urban League; Juneteenth Celebrations; she also had the leading role as Dorothy for the production of The Wiz. 
 

Mona has sung background vocals, and has opened for artists like: Earth, Wind & Fire, The Judd’s Sisters, Sara Von Zine, Marvin Sapp, Donald Lawrence, Bishop Walter Hawkins, Edwin Hawkins, Tramaine Hawkins, Robin Hodge-Williams, Richard Smallwood, Hezekiah Walker, KD Bowe, Clarence Eggleton & Friends, Sacramento Metropolitan Chapter Choir of the GMWA, Northern California Young Adult Choir of the GMWA, Wings of Gospel, Darryl Coley, Lawrence Matthews, Yvette Flunder of the Hawkins Family, The Martin Luther King Celebration Choir of Sacramento. She has been the featured guest soloist on Gospel Cd’s such as James Jackson & Friends, Harold Pauley & Unlimited Praise, Clarence Eggleton & Friends as well as Genesis Genestical CD and the Genesis Together CD. Singing the Gospel has allowed Mona to travel around the United States as well as Stockholm, Sweden to perform for the Stockholm Gospel Festival.
 

She has answered God’s call on her life, to walk into her season.  Mona is currently working on her very 1st Gospel Album - “I’m Still Here”, and a single release from the album entitled “Trouble Don’t Last Always”. She gives all Glory & Honor to God!!
